  • The brown thrasher, one of 30 species of mockingbirds, wintering in the rain forests of Dominica, migrating north to sing its melodies in Long Point Country. This thrasher has a woodpecker-like feeding habit, eating a variety of insects from the trunks of rain forest trees.
