  • The Goshawk, found in parts of Europe, Asia, northern Africa, and in North America from Alaska to Newfoundland and southward into Mexico, is a bird of prey that feeds on small mammals and birds. Goshawks build enormous nests of sticks and twigs in heavy stands of timber.
