My family and l live in Port Dover, which is a small fishing village on the shores of Lake Erie, Ontario, CANADA. We have been raising and showing dogs since 1984. Our first breed was Rough Collies, and we were very successful with them.

My closest friend is Hazel Hampson of 'Tricounty Collies' she taught me everything there was to know about showing and breeding collies, l could never have picked a better mentor !!
	Since all our dogs live in the house with us, we decided that a smaller breed was the way to continue our breeding program, and of course shelties were the natural choice. While showing the collies. l was watching the beautiful shelties of 'Alfenloch' and decided that was the 'look' that l wanted.................pretty faces, that beautiful eye, sound bodies, and happy outgoing temperaments.

Twenty some odd years ago,.....my husband said "No Linda NO dogs !!" famous last words.

Since then he has become my right hand man, He takes care of my dogs when l am away at dog shows, he pooper scoops daily, and feeds and waters them, he does the endless......"let them out" "let them in" He is forever fixing fences, and repairing and filling in escape holes!

Running to airports and out of the way places to pick up and return bitches. Whelping litters , and caring for sick dogs. Never complains about the endless dollars l spend on this hobby. He is the one who has always been there to wipe away my tears when l lose a dog that l love dearly, or part with one of my babies. And at the end of a bad day in the show ring, he holds me and says "Well they must have been blind !!" What more can you ask for ??
