Our Mission Statement:

The Caring Cupboard exists to carry out the following objectives.

To operate a Hunger Relief Centre, that is, to collect food and some toiletries into a central location and distribute these to people in need.
To draw support from Simcoe and district and respond to the issue of hunger.
To be an independent registered charitable organization run cooperatively by interested organizations.
To respect and uphold the human dignity of those in need.
To work in cooperation with other organizations with similar objectives.
To observe and otherwise determine the requirements of the recipients related to the emergency need (ei: shelter, emotional support) and to offer recommendation to the recipient about other existing community organizations, both governmental and volunteer.
